The objective of the conference "AI and Generative AI: Pushing the Boundaries of Innovation in Algeria" is to bring together researchers, practitioners, and policymakers from Algeria and around the world to discuss the latest advances in AI and Generative AI, and to explore how these technologies can be used to solve real-world problems in Algeria.

Specific objectives of the conference include:

• To promote the exchange of ideas and best practices in AI and Generative AI between researchers, practitioners, and policymakers.

• To identify and discuss the challenges and opportunities of using AI and Generative AI in Algeria.

• To showcase the latest research and applications of AI and Generative AI 

• To encourage collaboration between researchers, practitioners, and policymakers to develop and implement AI and Generative AI solutions to real-world problems in Algeria.

The conference is expected to attract a wide range of participants, including:

• Researchers from universities and research institutions in Algeria and around the world.

• Practitioners from companies and organizations that are developing and using AI and Generative AI technologies.

• Policymakers from the Algerian government and other organizations that are responsible for developing and implementing AI policies.

• Students and early-career professionals

Béni Abbès (Arabic: بني عباس), also known as the Pearl of the Saoura, and also as the White Oasis,  is a town and commune located in western Algeria in Béchar Province, 241 km (150 mi) far from the provincial capital Béchar,  and 1,200 km (746 mi) from Algiers.
